सगरोपाख्यानम् (Sagara-Upākhyāna): Śiva’s boon and the extraordinary birth of Sagara’s progeny
त्रिदशानां वच: श्रुत्वा तथेति मुनिरत्रवीत् । करिष्ये भवतां काम॑ लोकानां च महत् सुखम्,देवताओंका यह कथन सुनकर महर्षि अगस्त्यने कहा--“बहुत अच्छा” मैं आपलोगोंका मनोरथ पूर्ण करूँगा। इससे सम्पूर्ण लोकोंको महान् सुख प्राप्त होगा
tridaśānāṁ vacaḥ śrutvā tatheti munir atravīt | kariṣye bhavatāṁ kāmaṁ lokānāṁ ca mahat sukham ||
Mendengar perkataan para dewa, sang resi menjawab, “Demikianlah.” “Aku akan memenuhi kehendak kalian; dan melalui itu, kesejahteraan serta kebahagiaan besar akan datang kepada segenap dunia.”
