Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था
सर्वे समधिरूढा: सम संग्रामान्न: समुद्धर । जानामि त्वां महाबाहो क्षत्रधर्मे व्यवस्थितम्
sañjaya uvāca |
sarve samadhirūḍhāḥ sama-saṅgrāmān naḥ samuddhara |
jānāmi tvāṃ mahābāho kṣatra-dharme vyavasthitam |
Sanjaya berkata, “Kami semua telah naik dan siap dengan tekad yang sama; maka selamatkanlah kami dari pertempuran ini. Aku mengenalmu, wahai yang berlengan perkasa, sebagai ksatria yang teguh dalam dharma—mampu memikul beban perang demi para sekutu.”
संजय उवाच
The verse foregrounds kṣatriya-dharma: in a crisis of war, a proven warrior-leader is urged to act decisively for the protection and deliverance of allies, embodying steadfast duty rather than hesitation.
Sanjaya reports a plea addressed to a mighty warrior: with forces already mounted and prepared, the speaker asks him to rescue them from the impending battle, affirming his firm commitment to the warrior code.
