The verse underscores the ethical significance of righteous leadership and alliances: the arrival of Kṛṣṇa and key Yādava warriors implies a commitment to dharma-guided counsel and the pursuit of a just resolution before resorting to war.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that he has seen Kṛṣṇa arrive at the gathering, along with Cekitāna and Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki), indicating the presence of prominent Yādava supporters in the unfolding pre-war negotiations.
