राजधर्मः—प्रमादवर्जनं, दण्डनीतिः, दुर्बलरक्षणम्
Royal Dharma: Vigilance, Just Punishment, Protection of the Vulnerable
एतद् वृत्तं वासवस्य यमस्य वरुणस्य च । राजर्षीणां च सर्वेषां तत् त्वमप्यनुपालय,इन्द्र, यम, वरुण तथा सम्पूर्ण राजर्षियोंका यही बर्ताव है, तुम भी इसका निरन्तर पालन करो
etad vṛttaṃ vāsavasya yamasya varuṇasya ca | rājarṣīṇāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ tat tvam apy anupālaya ||
Inilah tata laku yang telah tegak pada Vāsava (Indra), Yama, dan Varuṇa, dan juga pada semua raja-ṛṣi. Karena itu, engkau pun hendaknya terus-menerus memeliharanya.
