तेषां पुत्राश्न पौत्राश्न येषां वंशा: प्रतिष्ठिता: । एवमेतत् पुरावृत्तं यन्मां पृष्छसि पाण्डव
teṣāṃ putrāś ca pautrāś ca yeṣāṃ vaṃśāḥ pratiṣṭhitāḥ | evam etat purāvṛttaṃ yan māṃ pṛcchasi pāṇḍava ||
Anak-anak dan cucu-cucu merekalah yang berkembang—mereka yang garis keturunannya kini tegak mapan. Demikianlah kisah purba itu, wahai Pāṇḍava, tentang hal yang engkau tanyakan kepadaku.
