Kṛṣṇa’s Dhyāna and the Prompt to Question Bhīṣma (कृष्णध्यानं भीष्मप्रश्नप्रेरणा च)
आवूृते भगवत्यर्के स हि लोकान् गमिष्यति । त्वद्दर्शन॑ महाबाहो तस्मादर्हति कौरव:,“महाबाहो! सूर्यके उत्तरायण होते ही कुरुकुलभूषण भीष्म देवलोकको चले जायूँगे; अतः उन्हें आपका दर्शन अवश्य प्राप्त होना चाहिये
āvṛte bhagavaty arke sa hi lokān gamiṣyati | tvad-darśanaṁ mahābāho tasmād arhati kauravaḥ ||
Vāsudeva berkata: “Wahai yang berlengan perkasa, ketika Sang Surya yang dimuliakan beralih ke jalan Uttarāyaṇa, ia (Bhīṣma) sungguh akan berangkat menuju alam-alam luhur. Karena itu, sang Kaurava (Bhīṣma) patut memperoleh darśana—berjumpa langsung denganmu—sebelum ia pergi.”
