एकस्तु शब्दो वितत: श्रुतो5स्माभिरुदीरित:

Transliteration

ekas tu śabdo vitataḥ śruto 'smābhir udīritaḥ | puṇḍarīkākṣa! tava jayaḥ | viśvabhāvana! te praṇāmaḥ | mahāpuruṣāṇām api pūrvaja hṛṣīkeśa! te namaḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma berkata: “Kami mendengar satu seruan saja, dilantunkan dengan suara lantang dan menyebar jauh ke segala arah. Semua orang berseru: ‘Wahai Pundarīkākṣa, jaya bagimu! Wahai Pemelihara dunia, kami bersujud kepadamu. Wahai Hṛṣīkeśa, leluhur bahkan bagi para mahāpurusha, salam hormat kepadamu!’”
