न किंचिदपि पश्यामो हतचक्षुर्बलेन्द्रिया: । “भगवान्‌के उस अनिर्वचनीय तेजने हमारे चित्तको सहसा खींच लिया था; परंतु हमारे नेत्र

na kiñcid api paśyāmo hata-cakṣur balendriyāḥ |

Bhīṣma berkata: “Kami sama sekali tidak dapat melihat apa pun. Mata kami seakan terpukul hingga buta; kekuatan dan indra kami pun tertindih. Walau sinar Sang Bhagavān yang tak terlukiskan itu seketika menarik batin kami ke arahnya, namun karena mata, tenaga, dan indra kami lumpuh, kami tak mampu menangkap sesuatu pun dengan jelas.”
