Nāmānirukta of Nārāyaṇa (Keśava–Viṣṇu–Vāsudeva) and the Rudra–Nārāyaṇa Unity Theme
A truly dharma-knowing person listens to wise counsel and responds with steady, principled resolve; learning (Vedic discipline) is shown as inseparable from ethical firmness (dṛḍha-vrata).
Bhishma reports that Vyasa hears Narada’s statement/advice and immediately assents—“So be it”—presenting Vyasa as a sage whose decisions are grounded in dharma and sustained by Vedic practice and unwavering vows.
