Livelihood, Virtuous Association, and Ethics of Giving
हाहाभूतं जगत् सर्वमुपलक्ष्य तदा प्रभु: । पितामहो महादेवं दर्शयन् प्रत्यभाषत,उस समय सारे जगत्में हाहाकार मच गया। यह सब देखकर भगवान् ब्रह्माने महादेवजीको जगत्की यह दुर्दशा दिखाते हुए उनसे इस प्रकार कहा
hāhābhūtaṃ jagat sarvam upalakṣya tadā prabhuḥ | pitāmaho mahādevaṃ darśayan pratyabhāṣata ||
Melihat seluruh dunia tenggelam dalam jerit ratap, Sang Penguasa—Pitāmaha Brahmā—menunjukkan malapetaka alam semesta itu kepada Mahādeva dan berbicara kepadanya.
