स प्रेत्य लभते लोकानक्षयानिति शुश्रुम । “जो गृहस्थ यथाशक्ति अपने धर्मका पालन करता है, वह मरनेके पश्चात् अक्षय लोकोंमें जाता है, ऐसा हमने सुन रखा है
sa pretya labhate lokān akṣayān iti śuśruma
Bhīṣma berkata: Kami telah mendengar bahwa seorang perumah tangga yang, sebatas kemampuannya, menegakkan dharma-nya sendiri, setelah wafat mencapai alam-alam yang tak binasa.
