अभिशनज्ञौ युद्धधर्मस्य मम माता पिता च मे
abhiśanajñau yuddhadharmasya mama mātā pitā ca me |
Sanjaya berkata: “Ibu dan ayahku sangat paham dharma peperangan. Ketika mendengar kabar kematianku, mereka akan diliputi duka. Sampaikanlah, atas permintaanku, pesan ini kepada mereka: bahwa aku telah melaksanakan yajña, melindungi mereka yang patut dipelihara, dan memerintah bumi dengan baik hingga batas samudra.”
