वेत्थ त्वं तात धर्माणां गतिं सूक्ष्मां युधिष्ठिर । विनीतो$सि महाप्राज्ञ वृद्धानां पर्युपासिता
vettha tvaṃ tāta dharmāṇāṃ gatiṃ sūkṣmāṃ yudhiṣṭhira | vinīto 'si mahāprājña vṛddhānāṃ paryupāsitaḥ ||
Wahai anak Yudhiṣṭhira, engkau memahami jalan dharma yang halus. Wahai yang amat bijaksana, engkau rendah hati dan terdidik, serta telah menghormati dan melayani para sesepuh.
युधिछिर उवाच
Dharma is subtle and difficult to judge in practice; true discernment of it is linked with personal discipline and the formative influence of respectfully serving elders and learning from their lived wisdom.
