वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights unanimity in dharmic resolve: when life’s supports collapse and the world turns, the righteous recognize impermanence and move together toward detachment rather than clinging to power or place.
After the catastrophic end of the Yādavas and the waning of their own worldly ties, the Pāṇḍavas and Draupadī are described as sharing a single intention: none wishes to remain, signaling their collective decision to depart from worldly life.
