उभौ विश्लुतकर्माणौ पौरुषेण बलेन च | उभौ च सदृशौ युद्धे शम्बरामरराजयो:

Transliteration

ubhau viśluta-karmāṇau pauruṣeṇa balena ca | ubhau ca sadṛśau yuddhe śambarāmararājayoḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Keduanya, dengan tindakan yang kini tak lagi terbendung, saling menandingi dalam keperkasaan dan kekuatan. Di medan laga mereka tampak serupa—laksana Śambara berhadapan dengan raja para dewa, Indra (Amara-rāja).
