bhūtvā hi vipulā senā tāvakānāṃ paraiḥ saha | anyonyaṃ samare prāpya kiñciccheṣā viśāṃpate ||
Wahai penguasa rakyat! Pasukanmu yang besar, setelah bertemu pasukan musuh di medan laga dan saling menghantam, kini menyusut hingga tinggal sedikit saja.
संजय उवाच
