अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

दीर्यते च महत् सैन्यं सृजजयानां महारणे,“उधर वह सूृंजयोंकी विशाल सेना भी महासमरमें विदीर्ण हो रही है। श्रीकृष्ण! वह हाथीकी रस्सीके चिह्नसे युक्त बुद्धिमान् कर्णका ध्वज दिखायी दे रहा है। वह राजाओंकी सेनाके बीच सानन्द विचरण कर रहा है
dīryate ca mahat sainyaṃ sṛñjayānāṃ mahāraṇe | tatra hastī-raśmi-cihna-yuktaḥ prājñaḥ karṇasya dhvajo dṛśyate | sa rājñāṃ senā-madhye sānandaṃ vicarati ||
Dalam pertempuran besar, bala tentara Sṛñjaya yang luas pun sedang tercabik-cabik. Wahai Kṛṣṇa, tampak panji Karṇa yang bijaksana, bertanda tali pengikat gajah; dengan girang penuh percaya diri ia bergerak di tengah pasukan para raja.
