अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

धृष्टद्युम्नस्य भल्लेन क्रुद्धश्चिच्छेद कार्मुकम् । उसका कवच कट गया था और शरीर नाराचोंके प्रहारसे जर्जर कर दिया गया था। उस अवस्थामें उसने कुपित होकर एक भल्लसे धृष्टद्युम्मके धनुषको काट डाला
sañjaya uvāca |
dhṛṣṭadyumnasya bhallena kruddhaś ciccheda kārmukam |
Sañjaya berkata: Dalam amarahnya, ia menebas busur Dhṛṣṭadyumna dengan sebuah anak panah bhalla yang tajam. Baju zirahnya telah terbelah, dan tubuhnya remuk oleh hantaman nārāca; namun ia tetap membalas dengan kelihaian yang kejam.
