The Neutralization of Alambusa
ह्रादेन गजघण्टानां शड्खानां निनदेन च । नराणां पदशब्दैश्व॒ कम्पतीव सम मेदिनी,हाथियोंके घंटोंकी घनघनाहट, शंखोंकी ध्वनि तथा पैदल चलनेवाले मनुष्योंके पैरोंकी धमकसे यह पृथ्वी काँपती-सी जान पड़ती थी
hrādena gajaghaṇṭānāṃ śaṅkhānāṃ ninadena ca | narāṇāṃ padaśabdaiś ca kampatīva sā medinī ||
Dengan dentang nyaring lonceng gajah, deru sangkakala kerang, dan hentakan berat langkah para prajurit yang berbaris, bumi seakan bergetar—pertanda muram akan dahsyatnya arus perang yang tak terbendung dan derita yang ditimbulkannya.
