द्रोणेन दुर्योधनस्य कवचबन्धनम् — Drona’s Mantra-Bound Armor for Duryodhana
एह्ोहि वसुके क्षिप्रं क्षरैभ्य: काड्क्षितं पय: । ततो दास्यामि भद्रं ते अन्नं यस्य यथेप्सितम्,“वसुधे! तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। आओ-आओ., इन प्रजाजनोंके लिये शीघ्र ही मनोवांछित दूधकी धारा बहाओ। तब मैं जिसका जैसा अभीष्ट अन्न है, उसे वैसा दे सकूँगा”
eho hi vasuke kṣipraṁ kṣarai bhyaḥ kāṅkṣitaṁ payaḥ | tato dāsyāmi bhadraṁ te annaṁ yasya yathepsitam ||
“Datanglah, wahai Vasudhā; semoga sejahtera bagimu. Segeralah alirkan bagi rakyat ini arus susu yang mereka dambakan. Setelah itu—semoga baik bagimu—akan kubagikan kepada tiap orang makanan sebagaimana yang diinginkannya.”
