Adhyāya 40 (Book 7, Droṇa-parva): Abhimanyu’s Rapid Advance and Battlefield Disruption
amarṣitāyāḥ kṛṣṇāyāḥ kāṅkṣitasya ca me pituḥ | adya kauravya bhīmasya bhavitāsmy anṛṇo yudhi ||

The verse frames action in war through the ethical lens of ṛṇa (moral debt/obligation): one seeks to become anṛṇa—released from obligation—by fulfilling the rightful, long-held aims of those to whom one is bound by loyalty and duty.
Sañjaya reports a warrior’s resolve: in the midst of the Drona Parva fighting, he declares that he will satisfy Draupadī’s wrath-driven wish and Bhīma’s desired objective, thereby repaying what he feels he owes them in the battle.
