अभिमन्यु-पराक्रमवर्णनम्

Abhimanyu’s Prowess and the Duḥśāsana Engagement

वासुदेवादुपात्तं यदस्त्रं यच्च धनंजयात्‌ | अदर्शयत तत्‌ कार्ष्णि: कृष्णाभ्यामविशेषवत्‌,भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण तथा अर्जुनसे अभिमन्युने जो-जो अस्त्र प्राप्त किये थे, उनका उन्हीं दोनोंकी भाँति वह युद्धस्थलमें प्रदर्शन करने लगा

vāsudevād upāttaṃ yad astraṃ yac ca dhanañjayāt | adarśayat tat kārṣṇiḥ kṛṣṇābhyām aviśeṣavat ||

Segala senjata yang Abhimanyu terima dari Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) dan yang ia peroleh dari Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), semuanya ditampilkannya di medan perang tanpa pembedaan—seolah ia setara dengan Kṛṣṇa dan Arjuna sendiri.
