Encirclement and Counterassault of Abhimanyu
पितरं चार्जुनं युद्धे न भीर्मामुपयास्यति । 'शत्रुओंकी यह सारी सेना मेरी सोलहवीं कलाके बराबर भी नहीं है। सूतनन्दन! विश्वविजयी विष्णुस्वरूप मामा श्रीकृष्णको तथा पिता अर्जुनको भी युद्धमें विपक्षीके रूपमें सामने पाकर मुझे भय नहीं होगा”
pitaraṃ cārjunaṃ yuddhe na bhīr mām upayāsyati |
Sekalipun dalam pertempuran aku harus berhadapan dengan ayahku sendiri, Arjuna, rasa takut takkan mendatangiku. Wahai putra kusir! Seluruh bala tentara musuh ini bahkan tidak sebanding dengan seperenam belas dari dayaku. Bahkan bila paman Śrī Kṛṣṇa—penakluk jagat, berwujud laksana Viṣṇu—dan ayah Arjuna berdiri di hadapanku sebagai lawan, hatiku tetap tak gentar.
