अवोचं चैतदस्त्रं वै हमोघं भवतु क्षमे । नरकस्याभिरक्षार्थ नैनं कश्नचिद् वधिष्यति,“उसे देते समय मैंने कहा--“वसुधे! यह अमोघ वैष्णवास्त्र नरकासुरकी रक्षाके लिये उसके पास रहे। फिर उसे कोई भी नष्ट नहीं कर सकेगा
avocaṃ caitad astraṃ vai amoghaṃ bhavatu kṣame | narakasyābhirakṣārthaṃ nainaṃ kaścid vadhiṣyati ||
Saat menganugerahkannya aku bersabda: “Wahai Bumi, biarlah senjata Vaiṣṇava ini tak pernah gagal. Biarlah ia tinggal pada Naraka demi perlindungannya; setelah itu tiada seorang pun akan mampu membunuhnya.”
