भगवंस्तन्ममाचक्ष्व को वै स पुरुषोत्तम: । शूलपाणिम्मया दृष्टस्तेजसा सूर्यसंनिभ:,भगवन्! मुझे बताइये, वे महापुरुष कौन थे? मैंने उन्हें हाथमें त्रिशूल लिये देखा था। वे सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी थे
bhagavaṁs tan mamācakṣva ko vai sa puruṣottamaḥ | śūlapāṇiṁ mayā dṛṣṭas tejasā sūryasaṁnibhaḥ ||
“Wahai Bhagavan, jelaskan kepadaku—siapakah sesungguhnya Pribadi Tertinggi itu? Aku melihatnya menggenggam trisula; ia bersinar laksana matahari.”
