पूज्यमाने ततस्तस्मिन् मोदते स महेश्वर: । सुखी प्रीतश्न॒ भवति प्रद्ृष्टश्वेव शड्कर:,उस लिंग अर्थात् प्रतीककी पूजा होनेपर कल्याणकारी भगवान् महेश्वर आनन्दित होते हैं। सुखी, प्रसन्न तथा हर्षोल्लाससे परिपूर्ण होते हैं
pūjyamāne tatastasmīn modate sa maheśvaraḥ | sukhī prītaś ca bhavati pradṛṣṭa iva śaṅkaraḥ ||
Ketika lambang itu dipuja, Tuhan Maheśvara yang membawa keberkahan pun bersukacita; Śaṅkara menjadi bahagia dan amat berkenan, seakan tampak nyata di hadapan.
व्यास उवाच
The verse emphasizes that sincere worship of Śiva’s emblem (liṅga) brings divine delight and favor; devotion is portrayed as effective and intimate—so powerful that the deity is ‘as if directly seen,’ highlighting the ethical value of श्रद्धा (faith) and reverent practice.
Vyāsa states that when the sacred emblem associated with Śiva is duly worshipped, Maheśvara/Śaṅkara becomes joyful and pleased, indicating divine approval and auspicious outcomes connected with that act of worship.
