teṣām api hādharmena ceṣṭitaṃ śṛṇu yādṛśam | o mūrkha! kevalaṃ dharmasena hi yuddhaṃ na jītā śakyate | teṣāṃ kauravāṇām api yo ’dharmapūrṇaḥ ceṣṭāḥ saṃbhūtāḥ tāḥ śṛṇu ||
Dhṛṣṭadyumna berkata: “Dengarkan pula bagaimana kelakuan mereka yang berlandaskan adharma. Wahai dungu—perang tak dapat dimenangi dengan dharma semata. Dengarkan juga perbuatan para Kaurava, tindakan yang mereka lakukan dalam kubangan adharma.”
धृष्टह्युम्न उवाच
