Mahabharata 7.193.331Drona Parva, Adhyaya 193, Shloka 331

वे जूएके मध्यभागमें और द्रोणाचार्यके लाल घोड़ोंकी पीठपर पैर रखकर खड़े थे। उस अवस्थामें द्रोणाचार्यको उनके ऊपर प्रहार करनेका कोई अवसर ही नहीं दिखायी देता था, यह एक अदभुत-सी बात हुई ।।

Mereka berdiri di bagian tengah kuk, bahkan menjejakkan kaki di punggung kuda-kuda merah Droṇācārya. Dalam keadaan demikian, Droṇācārya sama sekali tidak melihat celah untuk menghantam mereka—suatu hal yang menakjubkan. Seperti elang yang melesat cepat mengejar buruan yang rakus daging, demikianlah di medan laga serbuan Droṇa dan Pārṣata berlangsung.
