taṁ hataṁ saṁyuge kaścid asmai śaṁsatu mānavaḥ |
Sanjaya berkata: Biarlah seseorang pergi dan melaporkan kepadanya, “Aśvatthāmā telah terbunuh dalam pertempuran.” Aku yakin, begitu mendengarnya, ia takkan sanggup lagi melanjutkan perang ini.
