प्राशाम्यत रजो भौम॑ शीघ्रत्वादनिलस्यथ च । उस समय तेज हवा चलनेसे कुछ धूल तो ऊपर उड़ गयी और कुछ योद्धाओंके रक्तसे सिंचकर नीचे बैठ गयी। इससे भूतलकी वह सारी धूलराशि शान्त हो गयी
praśāmyata rajo bhaumaṁ śīghratvād anilasya atha ca |
Saat itu, karena hembusan angin yang melesat kencang, debu dari bumi pun mereda. Sebagiannya sempat terlempar ke atas, dan sebagiannya—terbasahi darah para kesatria—mengendap kembali ke tanah; demikianlah awan debu di medan laga menjadi tenang.
