किमन्यद् राक्षसानन्यानस्मांश्व॒ परिभूय ह । “इतना ही नहीं, उन्होंने मेरा तथा दूसरे राक्षसोंका अपमान करके पूर्वकालमें राक्षसकन्या हिडिम्बाके साथ भी बलात्कार किया था। इससे बढ़कर दूसरा अपराध क्या हो सकता है?
kim anyad rākṣasān anyān asmāṁś ca paribhūya ha
Sañjaya berkata: “Kejahatan apa lagi yang lebih besar daripada ini? Ia bukan hanya menghina aku dan para rākṣasa lainnya, tetapi pada masa lampau ia juga menodai gadis rākṣasa Hiḍimbā dengan kekerasan.”
