द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय १६२: प्रातःसंध्यायां युद्धप्रवृत्तिः तथा रजोमेघे संमूढता

अहं तु यत्नमास्थाय त्वदर्थ त्यक्तजीवित: । एष गच्छामि संग्रामं त्वत्कृते कुरुनन्दन

Transliteration

ahaṁ tu yatnam āsthāya tvadarthaṁ tyaktajīvitaḥ | eṣa gacchāmi saṅgrāmaṁ tvatkṛte kurunandana ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: “Namun aku, setelah mengerahkan segala upaya dan menganggap nyawaku telah kuserahkan demi dirimu, kini pergi ke medan perang—karena engkau, wahai kebanggaan Kuru.”
