त॑ दृष्टवा पुरुषव्याप्रश्लुक़्ोश महतो रवान् प्रावृट्कले महाराज नर्दन्निव बलाहक:,महाराज! उन्हें देखते ही पुरुषसिंह भीमने वर्षाकालमें गरजते हुए मेघके समान बड़े जोरसे सिंहनाद किया
tān dṛṣṭvā puruṣavyāghro bhīmo mahato ravān | prāvṛṭkāle mahārāja nardann iva balāhakaḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Melihat mereka, Bhīma—harimau di antara manusia—mengeluarkan auman yang sangat dahsyat, wahai Raja, bagaikan awan petir yang menggelegar pada musim hujan.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the warrior ethic of steadfast courage: a righteous fighter must display fearlessness and resolve, strengthening allies and confronting injustice without hesitation.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Bhīma, upon seeing the opposing forces (or the targeted foes), roars loudly like a monsoon thundercloud—an omen of imminent fierce combat and a deliberate act to intimidate the enemy.
