Droṇa’s Resolve to Restrain Yudhiṣṭhira and Arjuna’s Protective Vow (द्रोणस्य युधिष्ठिरनिग्रह-प्रयत्नः)
#स्न्पैमा+ () आजमाने द्ादशो<ड्ध्याय: दुर्योधनका वर मॉँगना और द्रोणाचार्यका युधिष्ठिरको अर्जुनकी अनुपस्थितिमें जीवित पकड़ लानेकी प्रतिज्ञा करना संजय उवाच हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि सर्व प्रत्यक्षदर्शिवान् । यथा स न्यपतद् द्रोण: सूदित: पाण्डुसृञ्जयै:,संजयने कहा--महाराज! मैं बड़े दुःखके साथ आपसे उन सब घटनाओंका वर्णन करूँगा। द्रोणाचार्य किस प्रकार गिरे हैं और पाण्डवों तथा सूंजयोंने कैसे उनका वध किया है? इन सब बातोंको मैंने प्रत्यक्ष देखा था
sañjaya uvāca | hanta te kathayiṣyāmi sarvaṃ pratyakṣadarśivān | yathā sa nyapatad droṇaḥ sūditaḥ pāṇḍusṛñjayaiḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Aduhai, akan kuceritakan semuanya kepadamu, sebab aku menyaksikannya sendiri—bagaimana Droṇa jatuh, dihantam dan ditumbangkan oleh para Pāṇḍava serta Sṛñjaya.”
