भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
महोरग वराहाद्य हरिकेश विभो जय । हरिवास दिशामीश विश्ववासामिताव्यय,आप महान् शेषनाग और महावाराह-रूप धारण करनेवाले हैं, सबके आदि कारण हैं। हरिकेश! प्रभो! आपकी जय हो, आप पीताम्बरधारी, दिशाओंके स्वामी, विश्वके आधार, अप्रमेय और अविनाशी हैं
mahoraga-varāhādya harikeśa vibho jaya | harivāsa diśāmīśa viśvavāsāmitāvyaya ||
Jaya bagi-Mu, wahai Hari-keśa, Sang Mahamerata—Engkau yang mengenakan rupa ular agung Śeṣa dan babi hutan perkasa Varāha, sebab mula segala yang ada. Jaya bagi-Mu, yang berbusana kuning, penguasa segala penjuru, penopang semesta—tak terukur dan tak binasa.
