Granting Sañjaya Divine Sight and the Description of Omens
The verse conveys an assurance of protection: in the midst of war, an individual may be preserved beyond normal expectations of harm and fatigue, suggesting the operation of destiny or higher safeguarding rather than mere human strength.
The speaker declares that Sañjaya (identified by his patronymic, Gāvalgaṇi) will not be harmed by weapons or overcome by exhaustion and will escape this war alive, functioning as a prophetic guarantee of his survival.
