Transliteration

sampatantam abhiprekṣya mahātmānaṃ pitāmaham

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Melihat Sang Kakek Agung Bhīṣma—berjiwa luhur—meluncur deras memasuki kancah perang, semua mata terpaku padanya; sosok yang paling dihormati pun turun ke dalam kekerasan, tetap bergerak menurut svadharma yang telah ia pilih.
