Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha

धर्ममेव गुरु ज्ञात्वा तृष्णा न गणिता त्वया । “जब मनुष्यमें दानविषयक रुचि जाग्रत्‌ होती है

dharmam eva guruṁ jñātvā tṛṣṇā na gaṇitā tvayā |

Dengan mengakui dharma semata sebagai guru tertinggi, engkau bahkan tidak menganggap dahaga sebagai sesuatu. Bila kecenderungan untuk memberi terbangun dalam diri seseorang, dharmanya tidak berkurang. Engkau menempatkan dharma lebih tinggi daripada keterikatan pada istri dan kasih pada putra; demi dharma itu, lapar dan haus pun kau anggap remeh.
