बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः

Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra

तथायं सुरथाज्जातो मम पौत्रो महाभुज: । “मन्दबुद्धि दुर्योधन और जयद्रथको भूलकर हमें अपनाओ। जैसे अभिमन्युसे शत्रुवीरोंका संहार करनेवाले परीक्षितका जन्म हुआ है

tathāyaṃ surathāj jāto mama pautro mahābhujaḥ |

Waiśaṃpāyana berkata: “Demikianlah, dari Suratha telah lahir cucuku ini, yang berlengan perkasa. Lupakan Duryodhana yang dungu dan Jayadratha, lalu terimalah kami. Sebagaimana dari Abhimanyu lahir Parikshit, penumpas para kesatria musuh, demikian pula dari Suratha terbit cucuku yang berlengan kuat ini.”
