Chatra–Upānah Dāna: Origin Narrative
Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda
पर्वतने कहा--जो आपका कमल ले गया हो, वह गाँवका मुखिया हो जाय, गधेकी सवारीपर चले तथा पेट भरनेके लिये कुत्तोंकी साथ लेकर शिकार खेले ।।
bharadvāja uvāca | sarvapāpasamādānaṁ nṛśaṁse cānṛte ca yat | tat tasyāstu sadā pāpaṁ yas te harati puṣkaram ||
Bharadvāja berkata: “Barangsiapa mencuri padmamu, biarlah seluruh dosa milik orang-orang kejam dan pendusta—segala beban kejahatan—senantiasa menimpa dirinya.”
