Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
ततः सम्पद्यते<न्येषु लोकेष्वप्रतिम: सदा । अनावृतगतिश्चैव कामचारो भवत्युत
tataḥ sampadyate 'nyeṣu lokeṣv apratimaḥ sadā | anāvṛtagatiś caiva kāmacāro bhavaty uta ||
Sesudah itu, di alam-alam lain pun ia senantiasa mencapai keadaan yang tiada banding. Perjalanannya tak terhalang, dan ia memperoleh kebebasan bergerak—dapat pergi ke mana pun sesuai kehendaknya.
वसिष्ठ उवाच
The verse teaches that sustained dharmic excellence yields a superior post-mortem destiny: one becomes incomparable in higher realms, with an unobstructed course and the ability to move freely—imagery for the removal of karmic obstacles through virtue and discipline.
Vasiṣṭha continues his instruction by describing the फल (result) of the previously taught conduct: the practitioner attains an unmatched status in other worlds, enjoying unhindered progress and freedom to go where he wishes.
