Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
मरीचिभ्यो मरीचिस्तु मारीच: कश्यपो हाभूत् | अंगारेभ्यो5ज़ितिस्तात वालखिल्या: कुशोच्चयात्
marīcibhyo marīcis tu mārīcaḥ kaśyapo hābhūt | aṅgārebhyo 'ṅgirās tāta vālakhilyāḥ kuśoccayāt ||
Dari sinar-sinar (marīci) muncullah resi Marīci; dan putranya termasyhur sebagai Kaśyapa, keturunan Marīci. Wahai anakku, dari bara menyala lahir Aṅgirā, dan dari tumpukan rumput kuśa menampakkan diri para resi yang disebut Vālakhilya.
