Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)

त्वया हि कुर्वता शास्त्र प्रमाणमिह पार्थिव

tvayā hi kurvatā śāstra-pramāṇam iha pārthiva, pramāṇam upanītā vai sthitāśva na vicālitāḥ |

Bhīṣma berkata: “Wahai raja, dengan perilakumu di sini—menjadikan śāstra sebagai ukuran yang sah—engkau menegakkan kewibawaan yang otoritatif; dan mereka yang teguh dalam dharma tidak kau biarkan goyah dari jalannya.”
