अन्नदान-प्रशंसा (Praise of the Gift of Food) | Annadāna-Praśaṃsā
ब्रवीमि सत्यमेतच्च यथाहं पाण्डुनन्दन । तेन सत्येन गच्छेयं लोकान् यत्र च शान्तनु:,पाण्डुनन्दन! मैं यह सच्ची बात कह रहा हूँ और चाहता हूँ कि इस सत्यके प्रभावसे मैं उन्हीं लोकोंमें जाऊँ जहाँ मेरे पिता शान्तनु गये हैं
bravīmi satyam etac ca yathāhaṃ pāṇḍunandana | tena satyena gaccheyaṃ lokān yatra ca śāntanuḥ ||
Wahai putra Pāṇḍu, aku mengucapkan ini sebagai kebenaran apa adanya. Dengan daya kebenaran itu, semoga aku mencapai alam-alam tempat ayahku Śāntanu telah pergi.
