Viśvāmitra-janma: Ṛcīka–Satyavatī–Gādhi and the Charu Exchange (विश्वामित्र-जन्म: ऋचीक–सत्यवती–गाधि वृत्तान्तः)
विश्वामित्रस्थ वै जन्म सोमसूर्याग्नितेजस: । भरतश्रेष्ठ! इस प्रकार मैंने तुम्हें सोम, सूर्य और अग्निके समान तेजस्वी विश्वामित्रके जन्मका सारा वृत्तान्त यथार्थरूपसे बताया है
Viśvāmitrasya vai janma somasūryāgnitejasaḥ | Bharataśreṣṭha! iti prakāreṇa mayā tubhyaṃ soma-sūrya-agnisama-tejasvinaḥ Viśvāmitrasya janmanaḥ sarvo vṛttāntaḥ yathārtharūpeṇa kathitaḥ |
Bhīṣma berkata: “Wahai yang terbaik di antara keturunan Bharata, demikianlah telah kuceritakan kepadamu dengan benar dan sepenuhnya seluruh riwayat kelahiran Viśvāmitra—yang cahayanya laksana Soma, Sūrya, dan Agni.”
