Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
The verse teaches the purifying and uplifting power of darśana: certain sacred and auspicious sights—like the full moon and the Gaṅgā—naturally calm the senses and clarify one’s inner perception, supporting a dharmic disposition.
A Siddha is praising the spiritual benefit of seeing the Gaṅgā, using a familiar analogy: just as the full moon delights the eyes, the sight of the Tripathagā Gaṅgā brings immediate serenity and joy to people.
