Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
न सा प्रीतिर्दिविष्ठस्थ सर्वकामानुपाश्रत: । सम्भवेद् या परा प्रीतिर्गड्राया: पुलिने नृूणाम्
na sā prītir diviṣṭhasthaḥ sarvakāmānupāśrataḥ | sambhaved yā parā prītir gaṅgāyāḥ puline nṛṇām ||
Sukacita itu tidaklah mungkin diperoleh—bahkan oleh dia yang tinggal di surga dan bersandar pada segala kenikmatan. Kebahagiaan tertinggi yang diraih manusia dengan berdiam di hamparan pasir tepi Gaṅgā melampaui kenikmatan surgawi.
