Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
भीष्म उवाच इति परममतिर्गुणानशेषान् शिलरतसये त्रिपथानुयोगरूपान् । बहुविधमनुशास्य तथ्यरूपान् गगनततलं द्युतिमान् विवेश सिद्ध:
bhīṣma uvāca—iti paramamatir guṇān aśeṣān śīlaratasya tripathānuyogarūpān | bahuvidham anuśāsya tathyārūpān gaganatalaṃ dyutimān viveśa siddhaḥ ||
Bhishma bersabda—Wahai Yudhisthira! Demikianlah sang siddha yang mahacerdas dan bercahaya, setelah menasihati brahmana yang hidup dengan śilavṛtti itu dengan berbagai cara serta menguraikan sepenuhnya sifat-sifat sejati dan beraneka dari Tripathagā, Dewi Gangga, kemudian memasuki hamparan langit.
