अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
ये त्वेवंगुणजातीयास्तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम् | सहस्रगुणमाप्रोति गुणाहाय प्रदायक:
ye tv evaṁguṇajātīyās tebhyo dattaṁ mahāphalam | sahasraguṇam āpnoti guṇāhāya pradāyakaḥ ||
Bhishma berkata: Dana yang diberikan kepada penerima yang sungguh memiliki kebajikan demikian berbuah besar. Sang pemberi, yang mampu menilai kebajikan, memperoleh hasil seribu kali lipat.
