कालयुक्तधर्मविवेकः
Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time
।। विपरीतस्तु धर्मात्मा रूपवानभिजायते
viparītastu dharmātmā rūpavān abhijāyate | devi! hiṁsāpremī manuṣyaḥ svapāpakarmakāraṇād anyeṣāṁ vadhyaḥ sarvaprāṇinām apriyaś cālpāyuś ca bhavati ||
Mahesvara bersabda—“Namun, siapa yang wataknya berlawanan dengan kekerasan, ia terlahir sebagai jiwa yang saleh dan dianugerahi keelokan. Wahai Dewi, manusia yang gemar menyakiti, karena perbuatan dosanya, menjadi layak dibunuh oleh orang lain, dibenci oleh semua makhluk, dan berumur pendek.”
